On October 2, 2004, at approximately 2:00 a.m., the Collier County Sheriff’s Office responded to Tyler Street and North 11th Street in Immokalee in reference to a deceased male found. The victim suffered from a stab wound. The decedent was later identified as 27-year-old Luis Aguilar, a Hispanic male. The death was determined to be a homicide. The investigation continues.

On November 29, 2019, the Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to the 400 block of Monroe Avenue in Lehigh Acres in reference to a deceased male found lying in the roadway. The victim suffered from a gunshot wound. The decedent was later identified as 28-year-old Dominique Beckford, a black male with a date of birth of August 16, 1991. Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit assumed the investigation. The death was determined to be a homicide. The investigation continues.

FORT MYERS BEACH SHOOTING SUSPECT STILL ON THE LOOSE #TheSearchContinues
This week marks the 1-year anniversary of the death of 22-year-old Johnny Jackson. Jackson was on the beach on July 16, 2020, spending time with friends and family near the Lani Kai Resort, Fort Myers Beach. Later that night, an unknown assailant shot Jackson and quickly fled the scene.
Jackson was born and raised in Lee County, and was one of six children. He worked at a lawn care service in Lehigh Acres and regularly spent time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.

On August 7, 2008, the Fort Myers Police Department received a call in reference to a man lying in the street in the area of the 1600 block of Maryland Avenue in Fort Myers. Detectives were notified and they responded to assume the investigation. Witnesses reported seeing a black male adult with dreads running from the area. The decedent was identified as Anthony “Tony” Crump, a white male with a date of birth of August 10, 1987. The death was determined to be a homicide. The investigation continues.

Seeking new information in the 2007 death of Barbara Bisram #TheSearchContinues
Collier County Sheriff's Office deputies found Barbara Bisram’s body inside her residence at 5181 Everglades Boulevard N in Naples around 12:30 p.m. on June 6, 2007. Deputies responded to the home after a family member who was trying to contact Bisram was unable to reach her. Detectives believe Bisram knew her killer and was not a victim of a random crime. There wasn’t any evidence of forced entry into the home or of a struggle between Bisram and her killer.
PLEASE NOTE: SWFL Crime Stoppers must be contacted first to be eligible for the $8,000 cash reward. The Florida Sheriff’s Association Criminal Apprehension Assistance Program contributed an additional $5,000 to the original $3,000 reward offered by Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers. The reward is for information leading to the identity and arrest of the person or persons responsible for Bisram’s death.

Remains of Pilar Sofia Rodriguez have not been found #TheSearchContinues
The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office Detectives are looking for additional information regarding the February 1999 disappearance and death of Pilar Rodriguez, a 4 year old female who was staying at the Trail Apartments with her babysitter Melissa Cooper and Cooper's boyfriend Keith Wilson.
Melissa Cooper, now known as Melissa Harding-Jones was arrested in 2010 by Charlotte County Sheriff's Office Major Crime Unit-Cold Case detectives in Washington State and charged with Aggravated Manslaughter of a Child which resulted in a guilty plea in 2013.
Both Melissa Cooper and Keith Wilson have been convicted in this case, Cooper pled guilty to Accessory after the fact and Wilson was found guilty of 2nd Degree Murder in a October, 2017 trial. Although this case has been completed from a criminal prosecution standpoint, the remains of Pilar Sofia Rodriguez have not been found and recovered. Cooper testified at the Keith Wilson trial that she did not know where Wilson took the body of Pilar Rodriguez and Keith Wilson has not provided those details to law enforcement. CCSO Major Crime Unit-Cold Case Detectives believe that someone besides Keith Wilson, also has this information and has not yet come forward!

The victim was later identified as 39-year-old Catalina Lechuga of Immokalee. Lechuga had died from multiple stab wounds. The death was determined to be a homicide. The investigation continues.
